HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Red Raiders led the Jimmies up until 3:04 remaining in the first half, their largest lead being 11 points (16-5) at 10:31.
- The Jimmies comeback started soon after with help of a Jimmy Llinas dunk and two threes by Brooks Carroll bringing the Jimmies within five of the Red Raiders (14-19).
- The Red Raiders started to pull away again gaining a lead of nine, but the Jimmies kept chipping away at the score.
- Eventually, a three-pointer and jumper by Cole Woodford brought the Jimmies ahead 28-27 with 3:04 left in the half. The Jimmies managed to stay ahead the remainder of the half (32-29).
- The Red Raiders managed to get ahead with three layups in the start of the second. Jimmies trailed for a while but stayed close behind the Red Raiders, getting ahead 47-46 with two Woodford three pointers at 9:29 left.
- The Red Raiders again gained a lead. The Jimmies stayed close up until 2:35 remaining and trailing by nine. The game went to Northwestern 74-61.
