Jimmies’ scoring slump leads to difficult road loss

Duluth, MN— The University of Jamestown Men's Basketball team faced a challenging road environment at Romano Gymnasium, falling 90-55 to the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs. The Jimmies could not overcome a substantial first-half deficit. The loss moves Jamestown to a 12-13 overall record and 10-9 in the NSIC.

Minnesota Duluth established a commanding lead in the opening period, outscoring the Jimmies 46-23. Thomas Diew led the early effort, finishing the half as a primary scoring option for the Jimmies.

2nd Half: Jimmies Battle in Scoring Surge (Minn. Duluth wins half 44-32)
Jamestown found more offensive consistency in the second frame, putting up 32 points. Carson Woodford provided a spark in the paint late, converting a layup with 3:12 remaining to bring the score to 50-82. Shortly after, Woodford added another layup at the 2:38 mark following an assist from Aiden Johnson. Zeke Austin contributed at the charity stripe, knocking down a free throw with 2:08 left to play.
