Bemidji, MN— The University of Jamestown Men's Basketball team showcased their resilience on the road, securing a hard-fought 74-67 victory over Bemidji State at the BSU Gymnasium. The Jimmies utilized a dominant season high performance from Thomas Diew and a strong defensive effort to improve their record to 13-13 overall and 11-9 in NSIC play.

1st Half: Beavers Take Narrow Lead (Bemidji St. leads 35-34)
Anthony Walters opened the Jimmies' scoring with a jumper at 19:49 to set an early tone. Thomas Diew sparked the offense quickly, hitting a three-pointer at the 19:05 mark. Walters remained hot from distance, burying triples at the 11:47 and 7:06 marks to keep Jamestown ahead for much of the frame. Despite the offensive push, Bemidji State utilized a late 10-3 run to take a narrow 35-34 lead into the intermission.
2nd Half: Jimmies Pull Away Late (Jamestown wins half 40-32 & Game 74-67)
Jamestown regained the lead early in the second frame when Owen Hektner connected on a three-pointer with 17:14 remaining. Zeke Austin provided a critical spark off the bench, hitting a three-pointer at the 12:35 mark to push the lead to 53-46. Thomas Diew continued his interior dominance, converting back-to-back layups at the 19:02 and 18:15 marks to keep the Beavers at arm's length. Ford Okehi delivered a dagger with 3:28 left to play, hitting a three-pointer to push the advantage to 70-63. Okehi iced the game at the charity stripe, sinking two free throws with just 13 seconds left to play to secure the seven-point victory.
