Who or what inspired you to start playing basketball growing up? 

  • My dad was a basketball coach.                

Do you have any pregame superstitions or routines? 

  • Tying my shoes as tight as they can possibly go. 

Tell us about your favorite basketball moment as a player or fan? 

  • Beating Morningside at Morningside. 

Who is your favorite basketball player? 

  • Dirk Nowitzki 

What is one talent you have outside the game of basketball? 

  • I am pretty good at cornhole.

What do you hope every Jimmie fan says after they see our team play? 

  • The Jimmie’s out worked the other team.

Why did you choose UJ and what do you like about being a Jimmie student- athlete? 

  • I chose UJ because I love it here and wanted to stay home. I like the family atmosphere we have here on our basketball team, it makes it fun.

High School  

Brooks Carroll graduated from Jamestown High School in 2021. He was part of the 2019 state championship team. In 2021, Brooks earned All-Conference honors and was selected to play in the Lions All-Star game. 

Personal 

Brooks is the son to Jason and Tristy. He plans to graduate in the spring with an Exercise Science major and plans to attend the UJ PT program in Fargo next year.
