The University of Jamestown's
Anthony Walters was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference's North Division Player of the Year on Thursday as the conference's all-conference teams were announced.
Walters averaged 20.0 points and 4.4 rebounds in 22 NSIC contests this season. A three-time NSIC North Division Player of the Week, Walters finished fifth overall in the conference in scoring average, as well as three-point field goal percentage (.412) and free throw percentage (.875). He posted 10 games with 20 or more points, and had two games of 30 or more points.
Tameron Ferguson of Augustana was named NSIC South Division Player of the Year. Brogan Madson of Sioux Falls was chosen as Newcomer of the Year, Wyatt Hawks of St. Cloud State was selected as Defensive Player of the Year, and St. Cloud State's Quincy Henderson was named Coach of the Year.
