Jamestown, N.D- The University of Jamestown men's basketball team is excited to announce the signing of two student-athletes for the 2026 recruiting class. Reggie Parker (Rochester, MN) and Colton Reinke (Fargo, ND) both signed their letter of intent to make their commitment to attend the University of Jamestown official.
"We are thrilled to be adding two exceptional student-athletes to our men's basketball family," said head coach Casey Bruggeman. "Reggie and Colton embody the type of character, leadership, and competitiveness we desire in our program. I would like to thank our recruiting coordinator and head assistant coach Tath Dak for his lead efforts in recruiting these two student-athletes. I would also like to thank the UJ admissions team, our Jimmie faculty and staff, and other athletic department members who aided in the recruitment of these student-athletes. We are thrilled for Reggie and Colton to be a part of the Jimmie Family!"
Reggie Parker
Forward, 6'7, Rochester Mayo HS (Rochester, MN)
Why UJ?: "I chose UJ because of the people. They make you feel accepted and comfortable and serve as a family away from home. When I first met Coach Bruggeman and Coach Dak, I could tell immediately that their personalities were genuine and that they truly care about other people excelling in basketball and later on in life." – Reggie Parker
Get to know Reggie: Reggie joins UJ from Rochester Mayo High School in Minnesota. He led his team to AAAA Breakout Team of the Year honors in 2024-25, boosting the team's win total from 13 to 19 between his Sophomore and Junior campaigns. He averaged 12.3 PPG, 7.1 RPG, and 2.2 APG while shooting 49% from the field last season. His strong play earned him Prep Hoops All-State Team (17U), Big Nine All-Conference Honorable Mention, and recognition as a Top 30 Player in Minnesota. On the AAU circuit, he competed with Minnesota Lace Up. He was highlighted as a standout performer at both the NHR State Tournament and Comets Shootout.
He is also a son of Kayla Syring, Reggie plans to major in Exercise Science or Health & Fitness Administration at the University of Jamestown.

What stood out most during the recruiting process was his positive personality, desire to grow, and his performance against some of the best competition in the region during this past AAU season. Reggie is poised to have a strong senior season for Rochester Mayo HS and we are excited to get him to campus next Fall. Reggie is an awesome young man from a great family, and we're thrilled for the opportunity to help him grow at UJ."
Colton Reinke
Wing, 6'6, Fargo Davies HS (Fargo, ND)
Why UJ?: "I chose UJ because from the start, Coach Bruggeman and Coach Dak showed how strong the family culture is. The players were welcoming and made it feel like home, and the coaches have a clear vision to help me grow into the best version of myself both on and off the court." – Colton Reinke
Get to Know Colton: Colton joins UJ from Fargo Davies High School in North Dakota. He was a key contributor to one of the state's top programs. He helped lead Davies to back-to-back 19+ win seasons while capturing consecutive EDC Regular Season Championships (2024, 2025) and the 2024 EDC Conference Tournament title. During his Sophomore and Junior seasons, Davies advanced to the Class AA State Tournament both years. He aslo finished as 2025 State Runner-Up and 2024 State Semi-Finalists. Colton averaged 10.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 42.6% from the field last season. He earned a spot on the 2025 Class AA All-State Tournament Team and was recognized for his consistent two-way production. On the AAU circuit, he competed with ND Phenom, where he was identified by Prep Hoops as a 2026 Stock Riser.
He the son of Jennifer and Hunter, Colton plans to major in Exercise Science at the University of Jamestown.
Coach Bruggeman on Colton: "Colton is a high-IQ player who is efficient on both ends of the floor and one of the best rebounding wings in the state of North Dakota. What stood out most during the recruiting process was how well his game will translate to college and how he continues to make big jumps in improvement every year. Colton has been a key player for one of the strongest programs in the state of North Dakota and will have a chance to lead his team back to state again this year. Colton is a tremendous young man from a great family, and we're thrilled for the opportunity to help him grow at UJ."
