HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first six minutes of play, the Jimmies got up 12-1 to the Tigers. The Tigers called a timeout and came out of it with seven straight points to trail three.
- Points were close as the Tigers fought to find a lead. With 5:29 remaining, the teams were tied 16-16, but the Jimmies kept the Tigers from gaining a lead.
- The Jimmies put up 18 more points, and the Tigers scored nine more. The first half went to the Jimmies, 34-25.
- Silas Bennion had 10 points in the first half, Will Cordes had seven, and Antonio Chandler and Spencer Barr each had six.
- The Jimmies scored eight points to the Tigers two to open the second half.
- At 15:15 the Tigers broke the Jimmies double figure lead and trailed 36-43 and at 13:54 trailed 47-41. By 11 minutes left the Jimmies had gained their double figure lead back.
- They then went on an 11-0 run to lead the Tigers 66-45. The Tigers responded with an 12-0 run of their own but still trailed nine with 4:42 left of the game.
- The Jimmies scored 10 more points, and the Tigers nine. The Jimmies won 76-66.
- Colby Vazquez had 12 points in the second half, and Jimmy Llinas had 10. Christian Lietz grabbed five rebounds.

- Bennion led with 14 points and tagged on eight rebounds and four steals.
- Llinas (12), Vazquez (12), and Cordes (10) followed in double figures.
