The University of Jamestown men's basketball coaching staff officially announced their 2026-27 season schedule as the Jimmies head into their second season as members of NCAA Division-II and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

The Jimmies regular season features 28Â total games, 13 home contests, and 22 NSIC games.

2026-27 Men's Basketball Schedule
Â
For the second straight season, the Jimmies will begin play in the Oklahoma City area as they participate in the GAC/NSIC challenge at Southern Nazarene University. While in the Sooner State, UJ will first play Southern Nazarene in a road contest (11/13), then Southeastern Oklahoma State University in a neutral-site affair (11/14) the following day.

The first home contests will come the next week with Jamestown hosting Oak Hills Christian College (11/17), and then NSIC-foe Winona State University (11/21) in a non-conference matchup.

It is all NSIC play from there with Jimmies playing two contests against each of the NSIC North opponents, and one vs. the eight NSIC South teams for a total of 22 league matches.

The first conference game will be at home right before Thanksgiving against travel partner Northern State University (11/21). Right after the holiday, the Jimmies will head over to Western Minnesota for two neutral site games at the MSU Moorhead Thanksgiving Classic. UJ will play two NSIC teams in neutral site non-conference matches: Concordia University St. Paul (11/28) and Southwest Minnesota State University (11/29).Â
To begin December, the Jimmies will host the University of Mary (12/3), then hit the road to play Minot State University (12/5).

On the docket next is a road trip to Northern Minnesota will UJ will play at Bemidji State University (12/10) and then the University of Minnesota Duluth (12/12).

The final two games before the New Year will be back at Harold Newman Arena against the University of Minnesota Crookston (12/17) and Minnesota State University Moorhead (12/19).

After the holiday season, the Jimmies are back at it on the second day of the New Year where they will head to South Dakota to play Northern State for the second time (1/2).

The next week will consist of the first of four weekends against the NSIC South teams, starting at home against Wayne State College (1/8), then Augustana University (1/9).

A four-game road trip is next with Jamestown playing at Winona State University (1/15) and then Concordia St. Paul (1/16) for the second time. The next weekend will be at the University of Sioux Falls (1/22) and Southwest Minnesota State (1/23).

The last two NSIC South games to be played will be back at Jamestown against Minnesota State University (1/29) and St. Cloud State University (1/30).Â

February consists of just six more regular season games, three at home and three away from home. First games of the month will be on the road against MSU Moorhead (2/4) and Minnesota Crookston (2/6).

The penultimate weekend will be in Harold Newman Arena versus Minnesota Duluth (2/11) and Bemidji State (2/13).

The final two regular season games will be two in-state battles against UMary in Bismarck (2/18) and then Minot State at home (2/20).

With the University of Jamestown achieving full NCAA Division-II membership in the summer, the Jimmies are fully eligible for the NSIC tournament should they qualify by finishing as one of the top 12 teams.

The first round of the tournament will be played on campus sites on Wednesday, February 24, while the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship will take place from Saturday, February 27 to March 2 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
