JAMESTOWN, N.D.-- The University of Jamestown men's basketball program will be led by six upperclassmen returners in the 2026-27 season. Together, these six players have been part of 31 victories during their first two seasons at Jamestown and helped the program transition to NCAA Division II and the NSIC.
These returners bring experience, leadership and a strong understanding of what it means to be a Jimmie as the program enters its second season of NCAA Division II competition.
"We are thrilled to welcome back this group of six upperclassmen returners. All six have been heavily invested in our program the last two seasons and are excited to lead our team this year. Thank you, Spencer, Malek, Carson, Henry, Turo, and Trey for your investment in our program," said head coach Casey Bruggeman.

Spencer Barr | 4th Year | Aberdeen, S.D.
"I'm really excited to be back for my final year with Jimmie basketball. I'm grateful for the opportunity to keep representing Jamestown and being around a great group of teammates and coaches. We have a lot to look forward to this year, and I'm excited to see what we can accomplish together!"

Carson Woodford | 5th Year | Redwood Falls, Minn.
"Coming in as a freshman and having great teammates that were leaders on and off the court is something that I have always appreciated and thought was a huge help. I think that has only gotten better the longer I've been a part of the Jamestown men's basketball team. I think that started with a great player lead culture in the locker room and on the court and is something I can see is still growing every year."
