LA CROSSE, WI. – The University of Jamestown track and field teams competed at the UW-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge, held April 17–18 at UW-La Crosse
On the men's side,
On the track, Aaron Devine led the Jimmies in the distance events with a 39th-place finish in the 10,000 meters, recording a time of 32:58.60. In the steeplechase, Clark Lortscher paced the squad with a 23rd-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:58.83). Braeden Kinzler followed closely in 25th place, crossing the finish line with a time of 10:03.14.
On the women's side,
On the track, the Jimmies saw strong performances in the 10,000 meters, led by Allyson Goodmanson with an eighth-place finish (37:15.75). Hallie Person followed with a 13th-place finish (37:56.59), while Kirsten Vander Kooi placed 29th with a time of 39:12.60. In the steeplechase, the Jimmies placed three runners in the top 20, highlighted by Lydia Franson with a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:02.61). Lilly Petty followed in 14th place (11:58.12) , and Greta Goven recorded a 19th-place finish with a time of 12:16.97.
