MANKATO, Minn. – The University of Jamestown track and field teams concluded competition at the 2026 NSIC Indoor Championships, held February 27–28 at Minnesota State University Mankato.

WOMEN'S RESULTS
On the mens side, Jamestown finished 12th overall in the team standings with nine points.
On the track, Jamestown was led in the distance events by Cole Campbell, who placed 14th in the 3000 meters with a time of 8:51.82 and added a 15th-place finish in the 5000 meters in 15:31.32. Noah Sayler finished 11th in the mile with a time of 4:24.84 and also placed 24th in the 3000 meters in 8:58.56. Aaron Devine secured 17th in the 5000 meters (15:38.18) and placed 26th in the 3000 meters (9:00.98). Braeden Kinzler rounded out the mile competition with a 17th-place finish in 4:30.69.
Jamestown also competed in both relay events. The distance medley relay team of Braeden Kinzler, Landon Moser, Adam Sobolik, and Noah Sayler finished ninth in 10:56.05. The 4x400-meter relay team of Cael Church, Adam Sobolik, Braeden Kinzler, and Landon Moser placed 12th with a time of 3:34.44.
In the field events, Ashton Judge delivered the top performance of the meet for the Jimmies, earning eight points with a second-place finish in the long jump at 7.35 meters. Trevor Waldo added a 12th-place jump of 6.58 meters, while Jayden Bittner placed 19th at 6.41 meters and Matthew Hoppe finished 21st at 6.35 meters. Bittner also competed in the triple jump, placing 18th with a mark of 13.27 meters.
The throws were highlighted by Jobe Rystedt, who placed eighth in the shot put with a throw of 16.17 meters to score one team point. Ethan Halverson finished 14th at 15.36 meters, and Evan Schmit placed 15th with a mark of 15.31 meters. In the high jump, Ethan Duval tied for 13th after clearing 1.91 meters, while Liam Horner tied for 19th with a clearance of 1.86 meters.
On the women's side, Jamestown finished 13th in the team standings with eight points.
The women were led by strong performances in both the throws and distance events. Brenna Held earned five team points with a fourth-place finish in the shot put, recording a throw of 13.47 meters. Held also competed in the weight throw, placing 12th with a mark of 15.79 meters.
Lydia Franson added three points in the mile, placing sixth in 5:03.91. Franson also secured 11th place in the 3000 meters with a time of 10:20.63. Hallie Person placed 17th in the 3000 meters (10:27.91) and 18th in the 5000 meters (18:33.20), while Allyson Goodmanson recorded a 15th-place finish in the 5000 meters with a time of 18:26.40. Annabelle LaFary finished 25th in the 3000 meters in 10:52.77.
In the 800-meter prelims, Greta Goven placed 12th overall with a time of 2:21.75. Saige Gustafson competed in the 60-meter prelims, finishing 18th in 7.84 seconds.
The women's distance medley relay team of Greta Goven, Meryssa Price, Lilly Petty, and Annabelle LaFary finished 11th with a time of 13:03.33.
In the field events, Madalyn Neumann tied for 11th in the high jump after clearing 1.55 meters. In the pole vault, Ruth Harris and Quinn Bassingthwaite tied for 15th, both clearing 3.31 meters. Sydney Ulrich placed 25th in the long jump with a mark of 5.06 meters. Harris also placed 24th in the triple jump at 10.70 meters, while Monica Goven finished 29th with a mark of 10.43 meters.
Jamestown now turns its focus toward preparation for the upcoming outdoor season following the conclusion of the conference championships.
