MARION, Ind.-- The NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University, concluded Friday evening.
Three University of Jamestown track and field athletes competed at the three day event, beginning with
Dawson Sedivec in the hammer throw on Wednesday.
Sedivec placed 10th out of 22 throwers in the event. After scratching on his first attempt, Sedivec came back with marks of 57.32 meters (188 feet, 1 inch) and 57.39 meters (188 feet, 3 inches).
On Thursday,
Ashton Judge competed in the long jump. Judge finished 15th of 21 jumpers, with a top mark of 7.09 meters on his final attempt after jumps of 6.85 meters and 6.72 meters.
Paige Erhardt competed in the high jump Friday afternoon. Unfortunately for Erhardt, she was unable to clear the opening height of 1.61 meters.
Sedivec made his second trip to outdoor nationals while Judge and Erhardt qualified for the first time this season.
