BISMARCK, N.D.—Kate Cordes from the University of Jamestown women's basketball team was named to the North Star Athletic Association All-Conference first team, the league office announced Tuesday.
Cordes currently leads the Jimmies with 20 points and 3.4 assists per game and is tied for second with 5 rebounds per game. In just three seasons at UJ, Cordes ranks 14
th on the all-time scoring list with 1218 points. Her 559 points so far in 2024-25 is the fifth-most by a Jimmie player in a single season.
Hannah Hagel was named honorable mention All-Conference. She is tied for second on the team in scoring (8.4 points per game) and fifth in rebounding (4.3 rebounds per game).
Kate Busek was the Jimmies' recipient of the NSAA Champions of Character award.
