Great Falls, M.T. — In a challenging match at the NAIA National Championship, the University of Jamestown women's basketball team faced off against the formidable Georgetown College Tigers. Despite a valiant effort from the Jimmies, the game concluded with a score of 93-62, marking the end of their tournament run.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Jimmies came out trading buckets with the Tigers
- But a three pointer by Teionni McDaniel put the Tigers in the lead with 6:56 left in the quarter
- In the second quarter the Jimmies had some shooting problems and the Tigers capitalized and went 6-6 from behind the arch, 15 assists to 18 makes and out scoring the Jimmies 28-10 in the paint.
- The Jimmies trailed 60-33 at half
- In the third quarter the Jimmies battled and a Megan Oswald free throw brought the Jimmies closer
- But ultimately the Tigers extended out to their largest lead of 33 points with 4:49 left in the quarter and it was too much for the Jimmies to overcome
- The Jimmies had three players in double digits Kate Cordes led Jamestown with 12 points, Jailyn Martinson had 11 points and Hannah Hagel had 10 points and a team high of two steals
- Martinson and Hagel also had a team high of six rebounds respectively
- Kate Busek led the Jimmies with two assists
