The Jimmie women's basketball team will see their season continue after receiving an at-large bid for the 2025 NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship. UJ will be the No. 13 seed in the Liston Quadrant and will head to Great Falls, Mont., for the First and Second Round, presented by Ballogy March 14-15.
Jamestown will be making its 14th appearance at the national tournament, where they have compiled a record of 13-13.
UJ's first-round opponent on Friday will be the No. 4 seed Georgetown (Ky.) College Tigers. The Tigers earned an at-large bid after a 20-8 record in 2024-25. This will be the 19th trip to nationals for Georgetown, who along with the Jimmies are two of 39 teams in this year's bracket that also qualified in 2024.
Friday's other first-round game will have host Providence (Mont.), the No. 5 seed, against No. 12 College of Idaho.
The first-round winners will meet in the quadrant championship on Saturday with a trip to the final site in Sioux City, Iowa, on the line.
Game times, broadcast details, and ticket information will be finalized in the next couple of days.
