Men's Track & Field compete at UMary Winter Classic

Jimmies have five athletes earn points and seven record personal bests at UMary Winter Classic

Bismarck, N.D. – The University of Jamestown men's track and field team competed at the UMary Winter Classic on Saturday. The men placed sixth of eight and scored 18 team points.

FOR THE JIMMIES

Lucas Dahl earned one point for the Jimmies with an eighth-place finish and a time of 2:04.61 in the 800-meter.
Dylan Frusciante earned three points with a sixth-place finish and a height of 1.82m finish in the high jump
Ethan Lieb earned two points with a seventh-place finish and a height of 1.77m in the high jump.
Dawson Sedivec earned two points with a seventh-place finish and a mark of 14.51m in the shot put. He earned four points in the weight throw, placing fifth and marking 16.57m.
Victor Ramos earned five points with a fourth-place finish and a new personal-best mark of 17.04m in the weight throw, good for second place on the Jimmie all-time list.
Jobe Rystedt placed 11^th of 34 in the shot put with a mark of 14.04m. Ethan Halverson followed in 12^that 13.93m, and Evan Schmit placed 14^th at 13.82m.
Also, in the shot put: Tyler Dean threw a season best of 13.44m, Samuel Reiland marked 13.38m, and Kobe Irmen marked 11.76m.
Kaden Jensen jumped 6.32m in the long jump.
Kobe Irmen threw 11.13m in the weight throw, and Dilon Filler threw 10.77m.

PERSONAL BESTS

Dylan Frusciante – 9.06 in the 60-meter hurdles
Avery Ligon – 23.63 in the 200-meters
Cael Thilmony – 5:15 in the mile
Samuel Reiland – 14.26m in the weight throw
Ethan Halverson – 12.85m in the weight throw
Jobe Rystedt – 12.48m in the weight throw
Evan Schmit – 11.97m in the weight throw
