Jamestown, N.D. – The University of Jamestown men's basketball lost a road game to the Dakota State Trojans on Friday night. This was the Jimmies first loss after a six-game win streak.
Silas Bennion had 17 points for the Jimmies, and
Anthony Walters added 11.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Jimmies got a quick five-point advantage with a jumper from Cole Glasgow and a triple from Bennion. The Trojans responded with ten straight points to reverse the roles.
- The Jimmies managed to hold the Trojans at 10 points and tie them at the 13:47 mark. However, they couldn't break the tie, and the Trojans reached a double-figure lead with two minutes and change to go in the first.
- Walters ended first half scoring with two free throws, leaving the Jimmies an even 10 points behind to begin the second.
- The Jimmies shot percentages improved in the second, widening their first-half score of 26 by eight points, and got as close as six points early into play but were unable to recover from the first-half deficit.
- The Jimmies had a low three-point scoring game compared to their last matchup with Dakota State, only making six compared to their 17 at home on January 11.
- Carson Woodford grabbed eight rebounds, and Will Cordes had six assists.
