Get to Know Ayden ... 

Who or what inspired you to start playing basketball growing up? 

• My dad was always pushing me to keep playing basketball. He was always my coach growing up and trained me and pushed me to be the best player and person I could be. He has always inspired me to keep playing.           

Do you have any pregame superstitions or routines? 

• I always do the same stretches the same amount of times.

Tell us about your favorite basketball moment as a player or fan? 

• My favorite basketball moment was getting my first in game dunk against my high schools rival. 

Who is your favorite basketball player? 

• Naz Reid 

What is one talent you have outside the game of basketball? 

• I would say i’m pretty good at building legos. 

What do you hope every Jimmie fan says after they see our team play? 

• I hope every Jimmie fan says that our team looks like a bunch of brothers because of how close we are together as a group.

Why did you choose UJ and what do you like about being a Jimmie student- athlete? 

• I chose UJ because of how much people care about you here. Everyone is so accepting, and you can easily build relationships with teachers. I love the facilities that I get the opportunity to use as being a student-athlete. 

High School  

Ayden came from Pembina High School. He was recognized as the North Dakota Class B Senior Athlete of the Year and earned Midco Class B Player of the Year honors. Ayden was also named to the All-State team and was a finalist for the prestigious ND Mr. Basketball award. 

Personal 

Ayden is the son of Wes and Debi. He is majoring in Business administration.
