Yankton, S.D. – The University of Jamestown men's track and field team competed at Northern State University on Saturday afternoon. The men earned 17 team points.
FOR THE JIMMIES
- Placing seventh, eighth, and ninth in the 55-meter were Xander Rath (6.81), Avery Ligon (6.82), and Connor Knatterud (6.85). Dayne Dorval and Charles Eaton also competed and finished with times of 6.97 and 7.61.
- Dylan Frusciante placed sixth in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.55. He also competed in the High Jump and received a mark of 1.86m.
- Ligon (24.03), Knatterud (24.08), Rath (24.47), Dorval (24.94), and Eaton (28.06) all competed in the 200-meter.
- Cael Church finished with a time of 54.32 in the 400-meter.
- Cole Campbell took fourth in the 800-meter, running a 2:05.28. Campbell, Lucas Dahl, and Kadin Marshall ran the mile with times of 4:38.98, 4:53.23, and 5:05.98, respectively.
- Riley Johnson placed fourth in the High Jump with a height of 1.86m, and Ethan Lieb jumped 1.81m.
- Ashton Judge took second in the Long Jump with a personal best distance of 6.82m, and Kaden Jensen and Trevor Waldo placed fourth and fifth with jumps of 6.46m and 6.36m.
- Dawson Sedivec placed third in the Shot Put with a throw of 14.74m, matching his personal best. He took first in the Weight Throw with a season-best of 17.28m.
- Ethan Halverson (14.52m), Jobe Rystedt (14.42m), and Evan Schmit (14.06) all threw personal bests and placed in the top 10 in the Shot Put along with Samuel Reiland (14.17m), who threw a season-best, and Tyler Dean (13.13m). Kobe Irmen and Dillon Filler also competed, throwing 12.11m and 11.34m.
- Victor Ramos placed second in the Weight Throw with a personal best mark of 16.18m. Reiland took fourth with 13.82m, and Rystedt (12.03m), Irmen (11.94m), Schmit (11.70m), Halverson (11.22m), and Filler (10.97m) filled in the sixth through 10th places.
