JAMESTOWN-- In four seasons filled with numerous accomplishments and accolades, Emma Keller (SR/Poulsbo, WA) added perhaps the most impressive honor to her resumé, one that no other University of Jamestown player before her had ever achieved.
2018 NAIA Softball All-American Teams
Keller capped off her stellar Jimmie career by being named to the 2018 NAIA Softball All-America second team. She becomes the first UJ player in program history to earn All-American honors.
She led the 44-10 Jimmies with six homers, 49 RBI, 10 triples, 18 walks, 57 runs scored, and a .471 on-base percentage. Her 75 hits and .408 batting average (min. 100 at bats) were second on the team.
Keller ranks first in on the all-time UJ list in runs scored (164), second in walks (52), fourth in hits (210), doubles (42), and triples (14), and fifth in at bats (567). Her 10 triples in 2018 is a Jimmie single-season record, and she is one of just five Jamestown players with 200 or more career hits. She was also a two-time first team North Star Athletic Association all-conference selection.
