UJ pounded out 10 hits off Blue Hawk pitching, led by Tifani Schorzman (JR/Coeur d'Alene, ID)'s 3-for-3, 2 RBI performance. Keller was 2-of-4 with three runs scored from the leadoff spot. Kelly Halverson (SO/Surrey, BC) also had a pair of runs batted in.

Jamestown scored single runs in the first three innings and another in the fifth before adding three insurance runs in the top of the seventh. Halverson's double scored Keller and Mikayla Frost (FR/Melba, ID), and Halverson would later score on a groundout by Kaitlyn Combo (SO/Yuba City, CA).

Schorzman and Marissa Duchi (JR/Redding, CA) both had doubles and Dunnigan went deep for the Jimmies' first home run of the season.

In the second game of the day, UJ put up four runs in the bottom of the first and scored again in the second to take an early 5-0 lead. VCSU stormed back for four runs in their half of the fourth to make it a one-run game. Jamestown responded with two in the fourth and another in the sixth for their final run of the game.

Keller was 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and four runs scored, while Frost and Schorzman had two hits each. Schorzman knocked in three runs and Combo's double brought in a pair of runs.

Brittany Rheault (JR/West Fargo, ND) worked the first 3 1/3 innings and gave up three earned runs on six hits while striking out five. Keller picked up the win in relief, tossing 1 2/3 hits, and despite allowing five hits, had just one run score.
