The University of Jamestown men's volleyball team roared back into the win column with an impressive 3-0 sweep over Park University Gilbert (AZ) in the Arizona Athletic Grounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Jimmies came out hot and were able to take a 5-3 lead with a kill by Markam Cook
• The Buccaneers answered back and were able to tie the set 7-7   
• The Jimmies answered back with a 4-0 scoring run by two kills Michal Niemiec, Markam Cook and Tomasz Swiderski to take a 14-9 lead 
• The Jimmies again went on another 4-0 scoring run with kills by Tysen Myers, Markam Cook and an ace by Tomasz Swiderski cruise to a 25-19 set win 
• In the second set the Jimmies came out firing taking a commanding 9-3 lead over the Buccaneers 
• The Buccaneers did answer back with 4-0 scoring run with errors made by the Jimmies but the Jimmies outscored the Buccaneers 9-4 at the end to win the second set 25-18 
• In the third set the Jimmies were in full control and came out on fire taking a commanding 12-3 lead with everyone contributing  
• The Buccaneers had no answer and the Jimmies cruised to a 25-15 set and match win
