HAWLEY, Minn. – The University of Jamestown women's golf team led from start to finish, taking the team title at the 2025 Comets Invitational, hosted by Mayville State University at Hawley Golf and Country Club.

The Jimmies finished with a two-day total of 84-over par, securing a decisive 10-stroke victory over second-place Dickinson State University. The win marks another impressive performance for the team this season.
Leading the charge was Kacie Rexin, who captured individual medalist honors with an outstanding tournament total of 6-over par. Rexin shot 2-over on Wednesday for a five-shot lead, then maintained that lead with a 4-over, tied for the best round two score. Her performance set the pace for a strong Jimmie showing across the entire leaderboard.
Celi Nelson also earned a top-five finish, tying for fourth place at 22-over par. Isabella Crafford followed close behind, placing sixth with a score of 24-over. The Jimmies packed the top of the leaderboard, with Ellie Garavaglia tying for 12th (+36) and Taylor Martin tying for 15th (+37) to round out the team's stellar outing.
Playing as individuals, Karsyn Swigart finished 20th at 41-over and Lyla McCasson was 21st at 44-over.
The Jimmies wrap up the fall portion of their schedule with the USF Invite, hosted by University of Sioux Falls, October 13-14 in Larchwood, Iowa.
