WAYNE, Neb. – The University of Jamestown women's cross country team concluded the season with a sixth-place finish at the 2025 Northern Sun Conference (NSIC) Championships, hosted by Wayne State College on Friday.
The Jimmies finished with 223 points in the 16-team field.
Lydia Franson was the top finisher for Jamestown, earning a top-20 place by placing 16th overall. Franson completed the 6K course in 22:40.00.
Allyson Goodmanson was the next Jimmie to cross the line, finishing 44th with a time of 23:52.60. She was followed by Hallie Person in 57th (24:14.50) and Lilly Petty in 61st (24:21.30). Kirsten Vander Kooi rounded out the team scoring for Jamestown, placing 64th in 24:23.50.
Also competing for the Jimmies were Greta Goven (89th, 25:10.00), Kari Patterson (102nd, 25:48.90), and Jeris Stark (123rd, 27:31.20).
Winona State won the team title with 28 points. The individual conference champion was Sophia Taarud, also of Winona State, who won the race in 21:19.60.
