OTTAWA, Kan. -- The ninth-ranked University of Jamestown men's volleyball team extended its winning streak to six matches and continued its perfect record in conference play, finishing its regular-season road schedule with a sweep of Ottawa University on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Jimmies trailed 7-4 in set one, but fought back with seven straight points to take an 11-7 lead. Ottawa called a timeout and won the first point after the stoppage, then Jamestown went on a 6-1 run to increase the lead to 17-9.
- UJ played from behind for most of the second set, and trailed 19-16 after a service error. A kill by Caydann Cox ignited a 6-0 run that proved to be the difference. After the Braves closed within 23-21, back-to-back kills by Caydann Cox were the final two points, giving the Jimmies a 2-0 match lead.
- Set three was not as close, as Jamestown opened with six straight points and built a 7-1 lead early.
- Ottawa had consecutive points just three times in the set and got no closer than 17-11.
- Three of the last four points went UJ's way and they finished the sweep on an Ottawa attack error.
