The 10th-ranked University of Jamestown women's hockey team scored three unanswered goals to take a 3-2 victory Saturday afternoon at John L. Wilson Arena over the University of Minnesota to salvage a split of their weekend series.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Minnesota led 2-0 after one period thanks to goals by Laramie Prell at 3:12 and Olivia Carlson at 5:43.
• Bethany Wielgosh brought the Jimmies within one as she scored a power play goal at 8:17 of the second, with assists by Annika Braun and Jayden Baker.
• Forty-two seconds into the third, Gaby Schroder tied the game on assists from Rylee Gee and Wielgosh.
• The go-ahead and eventual game-winning goal came off the stick of Samantha Beaulac at 4:27. Gee and Wielgosh once again teamed up to provide the assists.
• UJ killed off three of four Minnesota power play chances, but managed to score on just one of five tries with the man advantage.
• Lilah Drew stopped 26 shots over the final two periods and 39 in all to record the win in goal.
