The fourth-ranked University of Jamestown men's hockey team hosted No. 1 Minot State in the final home game of the 2023-24 season Wednesday evening at John L. Wilson Arena. The Beavers opened up a 3-0 lead before coming away with a 4-2 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Minot State scored once in the first period and twice more in the second to take a 3-0 lead going into the second intermission.
- UJ cut the lead to 3-1 on Logan Berggren's 10th goal of the season, coming on the power play at 8:14 of the third. Matthew Poole got the assist.
- Down two goals with two minutes remaining in regulation, the Jimmies pulled goaltender Brandon Weare for an extra attacker. The Beavers added an empty-net goal at 18:33 to push their lead back to three.
- Zane MacDonald scored with 43 seconds remaining as UJ got within 4-2, but no closer.
- Weare had 37 saves while MSU's Jake Anthony had 29 saves.
