The 11th-ranked University of Jamestown women's hockey team closed out its regular-season home schedule with a 5-1 loss to No. 1 Midland (Neb.) University Saturday afternoon at John L. Wilson Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Warriors posted the game's first goal at 14:04 of the opening period thanks to Callie Maguire.
• Three goals in a span of two minutes and 29 seconds in the second period helped break the game open for Midland. Jenna Grosdider (7:38), Taylor Bell (8:25), and Kayla Flanigan (10:07) all scored to make it 4-0.
• Crystal Wale got the Jimmies on the board with her 10^th goal of the year at 19:10 of the second. Jaeda Clayton and Mackenzie Couling got the assists.
• Grace Page finished the scoring for Midland with a goal at 9:13 of the third period.
• Lilah Drew had 32 saves in goal for UJ.
