Jamestown, N.D. – The University of Jamestown ACHA D1 men's hockey team hosted the Minot State Beavers on Friday afternoon. The Jimmies scored one goal to the Beavers three and will look for redemption as they travel to Minot tomorrow for a 7:30 PM game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Chase Visser had the lone goal for the Jimmies one minute into third-period play. Brad Fortin and Carter Johnson were credited with the assists.
- The first period was almost scoreless, but a Beaver power-play goal in the last 21 seconds gave them the upper hand to enter the second period.
- Minot's next and final two goals came in the second period.
- The Jimmies defense ramped up in the third period, only allowing the Beavers six shots on goal. However, the Jimmies were unable to score again after Visser's goal, and the game went to Minot.
- Brandon Weare had 30 saves.
