O'FALLON, Ill.— The University of Jamestown women's hockey team took to the road for the second time this season with a weekend series at McKendree University. The Bearcats came away with the sweep, defeating the Jimmies 4-0 on Friday and 4-2 on Saturday at McKendree Metro Rec Plex.

- Two goals in the first and two more in the second were enough for the Bearcats to take a 4-0 victory.
- Jamestown was outshot 33-12 overall and 27-7 over the final two periods.
- Makenzie Gibson had 10 saves in 30:16 of ice time and Lilah Drew made 19 saves over the final 29:44.
SATURDAY: McKENDREE 4, JAMESTOWN 2
- McKendree led 2-0 at the 13:15 mark of the second period, but Gaby Schroder cut the deficit in half with her fourth goal of the season at 15:03 on assists by Mackenzie Couling and Sam Beaulac.
- The Bearcats answered 52 seconds later to restore their two-goal lead on a shorthanded tally by Isobelle Hobbs.
- With 2:05 left in the second, Kiran Vugteveen scored her sixth of the year to help the Jimmies trail by just a goal going into the final 20 minutes.
- Alexandra Binning put home an important insurance goal 2:25 into the third, making the score 4-2.
- Shots ended 24-16 in favor of McKendree.
- The teams combined to go just 1-for-11 on the power play (Jamestown 0-6; McKendree 1-5).
- Lilah Drew had 20 saves for the Jimmies.
