The 9^th-ranked University of Jamestown women's hockey team defeated ACHA Division 2 Dakota College at Bottineau 3-1 Saturday afternoon at John L. Wilson Arena to complete a sweep of their weekend series.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Jamestown led 2-0 after the first period on goals by Jayden Baker and Kiran Vugteveen. Baker's goal, her fourth of the season, came at 11:01 and was assisted by Gracie Fisher and Madison Knudson. Vugteveen's seventh of the year was at 17:20 of the period and set up by Baker and Ashley Johnson.
• Anne Hulst extended UJ's lead with her goal at 13:08 of the third period. Jaeda Clayton and Katelyn Muchowski assisted on the goal.
• DCB got on the board with 3:36 left to make it a 3-1 game.

FOR THE JIMMIES

• Bailey Lindsay made her first start of the season and had 16 saves.
• Jamestown outshot DCB 52-17 overall.  
• UJ went 0-for-6 on the power play while the Lumberjacks were 1-for-3.
