TUCSON, Ariz.-- The Jimmie softball team pounded out 26 hits and scored 27 runs in a pair of victories over Purdue-North Central and College of St. Mary's on Wednesday.

Emily Newman (SR/Victoria, BC, Canada) was 4 for 7 on the day with three doubles, four runs scored, and two RBI. Autumn Wang (SR/Devils Lake, ND) was 3 for 7 with a home run and six runs batted in as well.

Hanna Dunnigan (JR/Regina, SK, Canada) earned the win for Jamestown in the first game of the day, a 14-3 win over Purdue-North Central. The lefthander rebounded from a rough start Tuesday to toss a complete game three-hitter. She struck out three and did not walk a batter as she moved to 4-2 on the year.

Emma Keller (SO/Poulsbo, WA) tossed another complete game for UJ against College of St. Mary's, a 13-3 five inning win for Jamestown. The sophomore allowed eight hits and three runs in her first complete game of the season.

Jamestown, 7-3 during their time in Arizona, and 13-5 overall, conclude the spring break trip Thursday with games against #25 University of St. Francis (Ill.) and Cardinal Stritch, who received votes in the first NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
