Jamestown College women's track & field and cross country coach, Jim Clark, announced that Christa Lysne, who will be a 2013 graduate of Devils Lake High School in Devils Lake, North Dakota, signed with Jamestown College and plans to participate in Cross Country and Track & Field for the Jimmies.

Christa is the daughter of Sue and Eric Lysne of Devils Lake.

Christa plans to study Nursing or some area of the health professions.

Coach Clark said, "I consider Christa to be a prize recruit. She is not only a very good runner, but she will also bring with her character, class, and dedication to her academic pursuits. Christa was a regular on the Devils Lake High School basketball team and is active in Student Council, Yearbook, Publications, and National Honor Society. Christa's track coach is Jake Wateland – Jamestown College graduate and former Jimmie fullback. I am excited for the opportunity to work with such a personable young lady and I believe she has her best ahead of her."
