JAMESTOWN, N.D.-- The University of Jamestown women's cross country team hosted the Jimmie XC Invitational Friday at Parkhurst Cross Country Course, and turned in a competitive team performance that saw them involved in a tie for fourth place. After tiebreakers, Rocky Mountain College was awarded fourth place, pushing Jamestown to fifth in the final standings.

The University of Jamestown was led by freshman Lydia Franson, who placed 25th overall and was the first scoring runner for the Jimmies. The team's spread for their scoring five runners was

North Dakota secured the team title with a score of 24 points, with North Dakota State finishing second with 35 points.
The individual champion of the women's 6K was Jadyn Keeler from North Dakota, who won with a time of 19:54.9. Reagan Baesler of North Dakota State was the runner-up with a time of 20:55.8.
