SMITHVILLE, Mo. – The University of Jamestown men's golf team wrapped up their 2025-26 campaign this weekend, finishing 10th overall at the 2026 NSIC Men's Golf Championship. Competing at the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex, the Jimmies posted a three-round team total of +82 in their final appearance of the season.
The squad maintained remarkable consistency throughout the tournament, opening with a 28-over-par 316 before carding identical team scores of 315 (+27) in both the second and third rounds. Winona State claimed the team title with a tournament total of +3.
Law Leads Individual Effort
Noah Law was the top finisher for the Jimmies, securing 33rd place in the individual standings. Law saved his best performance for the final day, carding a 4-over-par 76 to finish the championship with a total score of +18.
Following closely behind were teammates Carter Johnson and Bodie Williams, who finished in a tie for 39th place:
Carter Johnson: Finished at +22 for the tournament, opening the week with rounds of 77 and 78 before a final-round 83.
Bodie Williams: Also finished at +22, highlighted by a second-round 78 (+6) and a final-round 79 (+7).
Championship Scoring Breakdown
The Jimmies utilized their depth throughout the three-day event to round out the team scoring:
Porter Seidel: Finished in a tie for 41st place at +23, recording consistent rounds of 79, 80, and 80.
Mac Maluski: Carded an 82 (+10) in the opening round and returned to the scoring lineup for the final round with an 80 (+8).
Cole Campbell: Entered the lineup as a substitute in the second round, recording a score of 86 (+14).
