Wayne, NE— The University of Jamestown Men's Basketball team displayed poise under pressure, securing a hard-fought 73-70 road victory over the Wayne State (NE) Wildcats at Rice Auditorium. The win improves the Jimmies' record to 9-7 overall and a strong 7-3 in NSIC play.

Anthony Walters opened the Jimmies' scoring with a deep three-pointer to set the tone early. Owen Hektner extended the lead to 18-14 with back-to-back triples. Davis Walker finally iced the game at the line, sinking two free throws with just 3 seconds remaining to secure the 73-70 victory.
