Jamestown, ND— The University of Jamestown Men's Basketball team faced a nail-biting 71-69 home loss to the Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bears at Harold Newman Arena. In a game featuring seven lead changes and seven ties, the Jimmies held a halftime advantage but were unable to withstand a late surge by the visitors. The result brings Jamestown's record to 9-8 overall and 7-4 in NSIC play.

Aiden Johnson extended the lead to 14-5 with a successful three-pointer with 12:07 remaining in the half. The Jimmies' bench continued to produce as Johnson buried another triple at the 3:02 mark to push the score to 34-24, their largest lead of the half. Anthony Walters helped preserve the momentum heading into the break, hitting a jumper with 1:45 left to put Jamestown ahead 37-26 before CSP closed the gap late in the period.
2nd Half: Late-Game Drama in Final Minutes (CSP wins half 36-32)
Anthony Walters pushed the Jimmie lead to 45-43 with a three-pointer at the 17:38 mark, keeping Jamestown in front during a back-and-forth start to the period. Zeke Austin provided a spark off the bench, knocking down a crucial three-pointer with 8:04 remaining to extend the lead to 58-54. Davis Walker hit a jumper with 2:32 left to put Jamestown up 63-60, followed by a Cole Glasgow layup at 1:16 to maintain a 67-65 edge. Anthony Walters hit two clutch free throws with just 45 seconds remaining to give Jamestown a late 69-67 advantage. However, CSP's Ben Kopetzki answered with a three-pointer at the 0:25 mark to reclaim the lead for the Golden Bears, who secured the win with a final free throw with 12 seconds remaining.
