ALPINE, TEXAS — The University of Jamestown men's soccer team fell to Sul Ross State, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon at Dustdevil Soccer Field.
The Jimmies (1-3-0) struggled to find the back of the net against a disciplined Sul Ross State squad. José Ramos opened the scoring for the Lobos, followed by goals from Diego Uribe and Diego Hernandez, giving the visitors a commanding lead.
Jamestown fought hard throughout the match, creating several scoring opportunities, but was unable to convert. The team's defense also faced pressure from Sul Ross State's quick attacks, forcing the Jimmies to work hard to keep the score from climbing even higher.
