Women's track and field competes in Minneapolis at the Gary Wilson Invitational

Minneapolis, M.N. – The University of Jamestown women's track and field team competed in the Gary Wilson Invitational at the University of Minnesota on Wednesday.

FOR THE JIMMIES – TRACK EVENTS

Paige Erhardt and Sara Bonn represented the Jimmies in the 100-meter Hurdles. Erhardt ran a 15.49, and Bonn ran a season-best of 16.71.
Brooke Olson led the Jimmies in the 5000 meters with a personal best time of 19:27.51. Jennifer Tallackson also set a personal best of 19:31.66, as did Kirsten Vander Kooi at 19:32.48. Lilly Petty ran a time of 19:36.38, and Allyson Goodmanson finished at 19:49.04.
Sara Bonn, Cambrie Fischer, Paige Erhardt, and Monica Goven ran the 4x100 meter relay and finished with a time of 52.01.

FOR THE JIMMIES – FIELD EVENTS

Heather Okeson set a season-best throw in the Discus of 38.65m to place eighth.
Cambrie Fischer and Paige Erhardt competed in the Javelin Throw. Fischer threw a distance of 37.30m to place third, and Erhardt marked 36.47m to place fifth.
Sydney Ulrich marked 4.66m in the Long Jump.
Ruth Harris placed eighth in the Triple Jump with her mark of 9.98m. She also competed in the Pole Vault and vaulted 3.16m.
Brenna Held threw the Shot Put and placed fourth with her mark of 12.96m.

The women compete tomorrow, April 25^th, at the Bison Open in Fargo, North Dakota.
