Women's track and field compete at home in the Al Cassell Classic

Jamestown, N.D. – The University of Jamestown women's track and field team competed at the Al Cassell Classic in Jamestown, North Dakota on Saturday.

FOR THE JIMMIES – TRACK EVENTS
  • Monica Goven placed fourth in the 100 meters with a personal best time of 12.87, and Sara Sletto placed sixth with a personal best of 13.08m. Sletto also ran a personal best of 27.27 in the 200 meters. 
  • Madalyn Neumann placed second in the 400 meters with a time of 1:05.26, and Ella Germundson placed third at 1:09.72. 
  • Paige Erhardt placed second in the 100-meter Hurdles with a time of 15.60, Sara Bonn placed fourth at 17.08, and Ella Germundson placed fifth with a personal best of 17.21. 
FOR THE JIMMIES – FIELD EVENTS
  • Neumann placed third in the High Jump with a personal best height of 1.56m, Erhardt placed fourth at 1.51m, and Bonn placed sixth with a personal best of 1.51m.
  • Ruth Harris marked 3.01m in the Pole Vault to place third, and Quinn Bassingthwaite also marked 3.01m to place fourth. 
  • Sydney Ulrich placed fourth in the Long Jump with a personal best of 5.11m, Cambrie Fischer placed sixth with a personal best of 4.99m, and Keely Arnston marked 4.53m. 
  • Harris placed second in the Triple Jump with a distance of 10.47m, and Goven marked 10.14m. 
  • Brenna Held took third place in the Shot Put with a throw of 11.53m, and Makenzie Gibson placed ninth with a throw of 9.19m. 
  • Heather Okeson placed first in the Discus with a mark of 38.60m, Gibson placed fifth with a mark of 33.37m, and Held placed sixth with a personal best of 32.90. 
  • Gibson placed second in the Hammer Throw with a distance of 43.55m, Held placed third at 42.66m, and Okeson placed sixth at 41.57m. 
  • Fischer marked 37.91m in the Javelin to place third, Erhardt placed fifth at 35.90m, and Bonn marked 28.92m.
