Women's track and field competes at NDSU Spring Invitational

Fargo, N.D. – The University of Jamestown women's track and field team competed at the NDSU Spring Invitational on Friday. The women recorded three personal records and one season best.
FOR THE JIMMIES – TRACK EVENTS

Monica Goven and Sara Sletto competed in the 100 meters and ran the respective times of 12.97 and 13.25.
Paige Erhardt, Sara Bonn, and Ella Germundson competed in the 100-meter hurdles and finished with times of 15.26, 16.98, and 18.02, respectively.
Madalyn Neumann ran a 1:14.23 in the 400 meters, and Germundson ran a 1:15.93.
Lilly Petty and Allyson Goodmanson competed in the 1500 meters and ran times of 5:13.25 and 5:21.25, respectively.
Brooke Olson placed second in the 5000 meters with a personal best time of 19:37.84, Kirsten Vander Kooi followed in third with a personal best time of 19:38.26, and Jennifer Tallackson placed fourth with a personal best time of 19:50.98.

FOR THE JIMMIES – FIELD EVENTS

Heather Okeson threw 34.31m in the Discus and marked 41.79m in the Hammer Throw.
Brenna Held marked 43.36m in the Hammer Throw and a season-best of 12.63m in the Shot Put.
Cambrie Fischer placed seventh in the Javelin Throw with a distance of 38.88m. Erhardt and Bonn also competed and threw 36.79m and 29.09m, respectively.
Sydney Ulrich competed in the Long Jump and marked 4.90m.
Quinn Bassingthwaite placed tenth in the Pole Vault with a height of 3.36m, and Ruth Harris followed with a height of 3.06m.
Harris also competed in the Triple Jump and placed fourth with a jump of 10.36m.
The 4x100 meter relay (Bonn, Harris, Erhardt, and Goven) placed fourth with a time of 50.93.

UP NEXT

The women travel to La Crosse, Wisconsin, for the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge on April 17^th.
