Women's track and field compete at UND Indoor Open

Grand Forks, N.D. – The University of Jamestown women's track and field team competed at the UND Indoor Open on Saturday. The women scored 13 points and tied for ninth overall.
FOR THE JIMMIES

Ella Germundson ran a 10.46 in the 60-meter hurdles.
Madalyn Neumann earned four points with a time of 47.01 and a fifth-place finish in the 300-meters. She also competed in the high jump and marked 1.45m.
Allyson Goodmanson ran an 11:32.96, Kirsten Vander Kooi ran an 11:49.04, and Isabelle Julian ran an 11:50.41 in the 3000-meters.
Heather Okeson threw a distance of 36.30m in the discus, good for four points and sixth place. She also competed in the weight throw and threw 12.54m.
Cambrie Fischer jumped 4.77m, Sydney Ulrich jumped 4.53m, and Mackenzie Bakken jumped 4.43m in the long jump.
Monica Goven earned one point with her eighth-place finish in the triple jump, with a mark of 10.22m.
Ruth Harris placed fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.00m, earning five points. She also competed in the triple jump and marked 9.87m.
Sydney Ulrich marked 8.92m in the triple jump.

PERSONAL BESTS

Monica Goven – 8.37 in the 60-meter.
Jennifer Tallackson – 11:47.41 in the 3000-meters.
Mackenzie Bakken – 9.42m in the triple jump (season best).

The women are at the Bison Open in Fargo, North Dakota, on February 7^th and 8^th.
