DICKINSON, N.D.— Down by 18 points at halftime, the Jimmie men's basketball team could not find a second-half comeback and lost 81-59 to Dickinson State University Friday evening at Scott Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game was close early on, with neither team leading by five until DSU's Aidan Fishell made it 17-11 with 12:32 in the half.
- Spencer Barr's three-pointer started a 6-0 run that quickly brought UJ level, then Carson Woodford scored at the 7:40 mark to give the Jimmies a one-point lead.
- The Blue Hawks closed out the half on a 28-9 run and held Jamestown to two points over the final 4:15 of the half.
- After shooting 58 percent in the first half, DSU made 48 percent of their second-half shots, while the Jimmies fell to 34 percent in the second after making 41 percent in the first half.
- UJ got as close as 52-37 with 17:17 left but a little over nine minutes later found themselves down 72-44.
- Anthony Walters led Jamestown with 13 points, followed by Jimmy Llinas with 12, and Silas Bennion with 10.
- Cole Glasgow had a team-high 8 rebounds, while Bennion added 4 assists and 3 steals.
