St. Paul, Minn.— The University of Jamestown Men's Basketball team put up a valiant effort, narrowly falling to the Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bears 73-71 in a tough NSIC conference road game at the Gangelhoff Center in Saint Paul, MN.

1st Half: Walters Paces the Jimmies (Jamestown leads 38-39)
Anthony Walters was highly efficient early, scoring 25 points in the contest, sinking four three-pointers and hitting 10-of-17 shots overall. The Jimmies established a 10-point lead early in the half. Despite 12 points coming from the Jimmies' bench, and a strong 20 points scored in the paint, Concordia-St. Paul battled back with strong free-throw shooting (9-of-10) to keep the score tight. The teams went into halftime with the Golden Bears up by one point.

2nd Half: Close Finish (Concordia-St. Paul wins 73-71)
The second half was a true nail-biter, featuring five ties and six lead changes. The Jimmies were led by Ford Okehi's efforts in the period, who finished the game with 18 points, 5 assists, and 2 rebounds. However, foul trouble led to more free-throw opportunities for CSP, who successfully converted late to reclaim and hold a narrow advantage. A final attempt by Ford Okehi to tie the game at the buzzer missed, securing the 73-71 victory for the Golden Bears.
