Women's Track & Field competes at Mount Marty Invite

Yankton, S.D. – The University of Jamestown women's track and field team competed at the Mount Marty Invite on Saturday afternoon.

Mackenzie Bakken competed in the 60-meter dash and ran an 8.94.
Lilly Petty placed seventh in the mile, running a 5:55.41. Kirsten Vander Kooi followed in eighth with a personal best time of 5:56.30. Allyson Goodmanson placed ninth with a 5:59.01, Isabelle Julian placed 13^th with a 6:01.55, and Jennifer Tallackson placed 14^th with a 6:07.41.
Paige Erhardt ran a 9.84 in the 60 Hurdles, placing sixth. She also placed second in the High Jump with a personal best height of 5'3".
Ruth Harris placed sixth in the Pole Vault at 9'4.25". She also placed eighth in the Triple Jump with a distance of 32'2".
Cambrie Fischer and Sydney Ulrich competed in the Long Jump, placing 10^th and 13^th with jumps of 15'1.25" and 14'11.5", respectively. Ulrich jumped 31'0.5" in the Triple Jump.
Brenna Held placed fourth in the Shot Put with a throw of 40'9.75". She also placed fourth in the Weight Throw with a distance of 46'8".
Heather Okeson placed eighth and threw a 42'0.75" in the Weight Throw.

The women travel to Aberdeen, S.D., for the Northern State Invite on January 18.
