JAMESTOWN, N.D.—The third-ranked University of Jamestown women's volleyball team hosted No. 8 Bellevue (Neb.) University Friday evening at Harold Newman Arena in first home match of the season. The Jimmies won for the 11th straight time in 2024 while ending the Bruins' 10-match winning streak.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UJ trailed 20-16 in the first set but won nine of the last 11 points, including a stretch of six in a row, to take the opener.
- Jamestown never trailed in the second set, using a 7-0 run to open up a 22-13 lead before finishing with a 25-14 win. The Jimmies hit .469 as a team in the frame with 17 kills.
- The Jimmies trailed briefly in set three but a 3-0 run put UJ in the lead for the remainder of the match. Bellevue would get as close as three but spent much of the set trying to chip away at Jamestown's lead.
- Aleah Zieske posted 18 kills and hit .359 while Charlotte Lempka hit .714 with 10 kills and 0 errors.
- Tenley Buddenhagen passed out a match-high 23 assists, and Lily Bertsch recorded 17 to go along with 9 digs.
- Zieske had 12 digs, followed by Ellie Holen with 11. Lempka, Lexi Olson, and Karlie Anderson all had three total blocks.
