Box Score LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — The University of Jamestown women's soccer team advanced to the semifinals of the Continental Athletic Conference championship with a 2-1 victory over Carolina (N.C.) University Saturday afternoon at Grizzly Soccer Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game was scoreless until the 43rd minute until Hannah Hynek recorded her first goal of the season, coming on an assist by Bella Perez.
- Jamestown held on to the one-goal lead into the 70th minute before Ashley Sanchez put the Bruins level with her fourth of the year.
- The Jimmies retook the lead 22 seconds later on a goal from Orianna Borrome, set up by Hillary Hernandez. It was the second of the season for Borrome.
- Carolina earned a penalty kick with 21 seconds remaining but the attempt by Sarah Walters hit the crossbar and UJ maintained the lead.
- Jamestown's defense conceded only three shots on goal (8 overall), with Allyson Johnson making two saves.
- Shots were 14-8 (7-3 on target) in favor of the Jimmies.
