Box Score GREAT FALLS, Mont.— Kate Cordes led four players in double figures as the University of Jamestown women's basketball team defeated Montana State-Northern 82-70 Saturday evening at McLaughlin Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Jimmies led 16-8 after the first quarter, then outscored MSU-N 31-22 in the second quarter on the way to a 17-point lead at the break.
- Cordes was 4-for-4 from the field including a pair of three-pointers and Jayden Wiest was 3-for-3 from beyond the arc in the second quarter.
- Reagan Johnson sank a pair of free throws at the 4:30 mark of the first half to give Jamestown their largest lead at 37-16.
- UJ once again took a 21-point lead after Jessika Lofstrom scored at the 5:21 mark, but the Lights went on a 10-0 run to get within 11 points.
- Lofstrom ended Jamestown's scoring drought with 1:53 remaining in the third and the Jimmies took a 12-point lead into the fourth.
- MSU-N got the first points of the quarter to get within 10, but a three-point play by Megan Oswald keyed a 7-0 run that helped UJ push the lead back to 17.
- Cordes led Jamestown with 25 points and was 8-for-8 from the foul line.
- Lofstrom and Wiest both had 13 points off the bench and Kate Busek was also in double figures with 12.
- Hannah Hagel grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds.
- Cordes passed out three assists and Wiest and Samantha Paulsen each had three steals.
