YANKTON, S.D.-- Dawson Sedivec set a new school record, Braedon Gumke qualified for the NAIA national meet, and Keely Arnston won two events as the Jimmie indoor track and field teams competed at the Mount Marty Last Chance Meet on Saturday.

Sedivec won the weight throw with a mark of 17.31m (56 feet, 9.5 inches), breaking the previous UJ record of 17.00m (55 feet, 9.25 inches) set by Garrett Tenney in 2014.

Gumke joined Sedivec in qualifying for the national meet by clearing 4.65m (15 feet, 3 inches) to win the pole vault.

Arnston claimed the 1000 meters and mile, Anni Stier won the 400m, and Drew Hjelmstad set a new personal best in winning the mile.

The Jimmies combined for 37 top-ten places, and turned in 19 new personal-best performances.
