The University of Jamestown women's soccer team finished the regular season with a 1-0 loss to Briar Cliff (Iowa) University Saturday afternoon at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Both teams managed five total shots in a scoreless first half, with UJ putting three on target and BCU two.
• Briar Cliff took the lead in the 58^th minute as Gemma White scored off of a corner kick by Sophia Rodriguez.
• Content with a one-goal lead, the Chargers didn't put another shot on goal until the 87^th minute.
• Eve Hoppe had two scoring chances in the 67^th and 72^nd minutes, and Jamestown won four corner kicks over the final five minutes, but couldn't find the tying goal.

FOR THE JIMMIES

• Shots were 10-7 overall and 6-4 in favor of Jamestown.
• Ryley Bedard had three shots on goal.
• Tea Pence made three saves in net.
