The University of Jamestown women's soccer team finished the regular season with a 1-0 loss to Briar Cliff (Iowa) University Saturday afternoon at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams managed five total shots in a scoreless first half, with UJ putting three on target and BCU two.
- Briar Cliff took the lead in the 58th minute as Gemma White scored off of a corner kick by Sophia Rodriguez.
- Content with a one-goal lead, the Chargers didn't put another shot on goal until the 87th minute.
- Eve Hoppe had two scoring chances in the 67th and 72nd minutes, and Jamestown won four corner kicks over the final five minutes, but couldn't find the tying goal.
FOR THE JIMMIES
- Shots were 10-7 overall and 6-4 in favor of Jamestown.
- Ryley Bedard had three shots on goal.
